Russian Imperial 84 Standard Silver flatware set in a Plain pattern, c.1900, with Kharkov assay marks for Nikolai Ivanovich Stradomsky. The set consists of:
  • 12 Dinner Forks 8 1/8" 1041 grams Maker′s Mark A.H
  • 12 Tablespoons 8 1/2" 969 grams Maker′s Mark K.P.
  • 11 Dinner Knives 10 3/8" Maker′s mark AH
  • 9 Teaspoons 6 1/8" 305 grams Maker′s Mark KP
  • All 44 pieces Monogrammed CO (SO) under a Crown.
The Dinner Knives have polished steel Russian blades, marked Varipaev under a double headed eagle Imperial mark. The set shows normal wear consistent with age and use. One of the knives has a dent on the back of the handle. All pieces are of good weight and the set is perfectly usable. Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The steel knife blades have been polished. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
